How do I refer-a-friend or business to FreshBooks?
Share your unique link with anyone you’d like to invite to FreshBooks. Click “Refer a Friend” or “Refer a Business” on this page then enter your email address to generate a unique link. If someone signs up through your link, you’ll be listed as their referrer and are eligible to earn a $25 USD gift card (friend) or $150 gift card (business) if they subscribe to a paid plan.
How am I rewarded for referrals?
When a referred friend or business purchases a FreshBooks subscription, you become eligible to receive a gift card. The digital gift card is delivered to your email account 31 days after this purchase, as long as your referral hasn’t canceled or refunded their FreshBooks subscription.
How do I qualify for a Business referral reward?
Referred businesses are connected with our in-house sales team. If the referred business subscribes to a custom FreshBooks package then adds 5+ employees, we notify you via email that your referral was successful. Included in that email will be your unique digital gift card link.
How many friends or businesses can I refer to FreshBooks?
There is no limit on the number of friends or businesses you can refer to FreshBooks. Refer everyone you know!
Can my digital gift card be exchanged for cash?
No. Digital gift cards are only redeemable with listed merchants when claiming your reward.
How will I know if the friend or business I referred bought a FreshBooks subscription?
You are notified by email when your referred user has purchased a FreshBooks subscription. That email includes your unique, digital gift card link.
Do I qualify for a gift card if I self refer?
No. Self-referrals are automatically flagged and disqualified.
